The weather, track, members and Orange turned it on to give us one of the best final rounds we’ve seen! Spirits were high from the outset.
The track resurfacing simply stunning and the clubs hospitality a treat 🙏 The weather perfect and the pubs not too bad either.
A few team arrived with serious business in mind with a few Championship podium positions still undecided.
Racing on the Sunday was just short of 6 hours, super tight and generally tidy throughout the day. When all said and done there can only be one winner, and no surprise was awarded to Trackside #37 making their return piloted by Chris Weir, Paul Marano, and Liam Ferry who also broke his old team mates lap record. In hot pursuit the might of the Buildline team with El Toro #97 runners up and their team mates Dynamite #27 under a second behind into 3rd. A brilliant performace in their first hit out with TEKA Stratco Racing #15 also taking 1st in A grade.
Finishing commendable 2nd in A grade and 5th outright Buildline #9 followed by their Championship rivals #54 ASR Trakka.
In the battle for B grade honours no surprise to see the super quick team of BMCM #29 take a dominant win ahead of ProFan #8 and Maverick #55.
When all said and done the Championship positions were decided for 2022
