All NEW Briggs and Stratton Animal engines to be used in the TEKA series in 2019 must be purchased via the TEKA club through the following procedure.
Download or request an Engine Purchase Order form or by contacting the TEKA committee via email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Fill out the form with your teams purchasing information, the number of engines required and additional parts you require with the engines.
New for 2019 – ALL engines will be forwarded from Aussiespeed, stamped with a TEKA engine number and a combination of Briggs and Stratton hologram seals and TEKA seals. All engines will be sent to Homebush Karts, located at 56/11-21 Underwood Rd Homebush Bay, as a pick-up location for teams. Engines can be forwarded from Homebush Karts to a requested location by the purchaser, via courier at the purchaser’s cost. The engine purchase order form contains a section for the purchaser to nominate this address if required.
At the time of the TEKA committee receiving your engine order, an invoice will be issued via email and upon payment your engine will be ordered through Aussiespeed. If you also choose to order general kart parts, we can arrange this through Homebush Karts and a separate invoice will be sent out from Homebush Karts and your order filled upon payment.
Each engine will be supplied with a TEKA Animal engine log book. Every Animal engine that competes in the TEKA championship must have a current log book. The log book contains the purchasing team’s details, engine numbers, seal numbers and provision for any future works carried out on the engine. The log book must be presented with the engine at pre-race scrutineering or if requested by the Chief Scrutineer of the event.
