El Toro take out YELLO Canberra 6hr
The Buildine team of El Toro #97 have made a charge from 4th to become serious championship contenders by winning a hard fought 6hr at the Mark Webber track in Canberra. With Championship leader fall from grace after breaking a stub axle while leading the battle for the win didnt come easily holding off DNT #18 and Dormer Racing #84 who were both super quick all day. The top 5-6 karts remained on the lead lap and went for it for most of the race. The El Toro boys couldn’t be happier popping their victory cherry with their maiden win, and what a time to do it with 2 rounds to go and sitting 2nd in the Championship!

Its that time of year again…Sate Title time!!!
TEKA Penrite State Title Dubbo 17th/18th JuneThe time is coming, TEKA heads west for 8.5 hrs racing at one of the best tracks with the perfect combination of fast, flowing and technical and will decide the Endurance State Title Champions. Over 100 endurance drivers will come from all walks of life, not necessarily 2 stroke racing. Although many sprint karters love this class with tight racing over hours and ultimately representing the best ban for your buck.
Rumour has it that defending Champions Maverick will make a return for the event. Dynamite #27 go into the event outright Championship leaders but by no means favourites with anyone of the top 10 teams capable of winning it. The fight for the 2023 Championship 4 rounds in is on, only 100 points separates the top 10 with the same on offer for a race win it’s well and truly alive!
A grade podium positions only separated by just over 20 points between BMCM #29, Yello #3, and Profan #12. In B grade the fight for the Championship currently between Profan #21 and Top Step #45.

For TEKA club members please note that membership is for the calendar year so regardless of when you renew or join the club membership will expire 31st Dec 2023.
Even if you join in November this year it will expire end of the following month. Therefore to get best bang for buck, renew now to ensure you get maximum value from your membership and can easily enter any race this season.
