I used to stay at the Olympia Motel in Queanbeyan for work all the time, it's cheap and the rooms are good. 4Km from the track in downtown Queanbeyan it is a short walk to lots of restraunts.

Here are the closest Motels to the track. All in Queanbeyan, having never stayed at any I am going by reputation and location.

1. Airport International Motel (http://www.airportinternational.com.au), 57-73 Yass Road, 02 6128 0300, 1k from the track, rooms start at $110 twin share. Also has a bistro and bar.

2. Queensgate Motel (http://www.queensgate.com.au), 2 High Street, 02 6297 7677, 5 minutes from track, single room $98, twin $110, 3 to a room $145, 4 to a room $165

3. Grand Manor Motor Inn (http://www.grandmanor.net.au), 45 Macquoid St, 02 6299 2800, 10 minutes from track, single $115, 2 $125, 3 $140, 4 $150, 5 $190 and they also have town houses that sleep 6 or more for $300

4. The Rainbow Motel (no website), 41 Bungendore Road, 02 6297 2784, 10 minutes from track, standard twin share from $80

There is a Bowling Club on Yass Road as well as KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut all close by these motels. Queensgate and Grand Manor are closer to the main street of Queanbeyan and are in easy walking distance to the Queanbeyan Leagues Club and local restaurants.
